Best Photo/Vid Settings With No Post Pro

I have a P3P and do not have a very good post pro software right now. I have iMovie9 and iPhoto only and can edit a movie/photo montage but not like Final Cut Pro or Photoshop or Lightroom. So for now, just want to shoot and edit without adjusting the picture quality. What is the best setting for photo & vid for my case?

I use Da Vinci Resolve 12 and it's free

if you are not doing post production and color correction, just use:

• Style: Landscape
• Color: None or Vivid

If computer has power use 4K24, otherwise, use: 1080 p

Hi Flipsonic, I guess I was lax in reading your request correctly. Lalvar40 would be correct if your not going to do any post production work.

Thanks all. I forgot to include that I will be shooting in 4K but exporting to 1080p. I have an early 2009 iMac and can import 4K clips through iMovie9 but it is choppy on playback in the timeline. That's ok because it can export to 1080p with no problems. I haven't played around with vivid too much. I've used beach and it looked ok. Also I will be using ND filters.
