Haha same here. I use premiere pro cs6. Im use to doing loads of music videos with tons of effects, color grading and color correction. Just a 4 minute video easily takes 3-4 hours of rendering/finalizing.
This is a pretty amateurish response. What exactly do you edit? Why do you edit? Why do you make videos in the first place? If its just for self pleasure then fine I understand. But, if you're trying to make money, show the world and impress people with you editing skills. Then you're selling yourself really short by saying you dont feel like being glued to the computer for a few hours and only plan to render 1080p videos. Sorry. But, I take passion in my editing skills. Sitting in front of a computer for hours is an everyday thing for me and sometimes can go to the extreme of 12+ hours straight. You can clearly tell the difference of someone who edits videos on their phone/tablet. It looks like a 6 year old is editing the video. Compared to someone who is "glued to the computer for a few hours".

I got a msi ghost 4k laptop was not cheap but very good for editing super fast, plays 4k like a dream.
