battery storage

whats the best way to store the phantom vision 2 batteries, I live in Sask Canada and its colder the heck here right now and am new to flying the phantom and not real great at it yet dont wanna crash it in the snow lol so gonna wait till spring comes around whats the best way to store the battery for a few months, the battery strength is down to around 2 bars on the display

I bought these LiPo bags at Amazon, they will hold two DJI Phantom 2 Smart Batts but I would have one for each, $9ea for something that could prevent your house from burning down.. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005Q3 ... UTF8&psc=1

what should I keep them stored at is more what I was getting at should I leave them around 20% or every other month charge them up and take the props of and run them down to about 20% just dont want to come spring and find them dead cause I didnt store them correctly

Store them with a 40 to 50% charge in a cool place. I store mine in a zip lock bag in the frig. I have 4 batteries over a year old and still going.
