Battery query

Would it be useful to be able to connect the battery via a four foot cable to the P4? Thinking it might solve some of the heating problems when doing various calibrations. Is the 10 pin connector standard or a custom fit? Crazy idea?

Your Phantom will generate heat as it runs too. For the IMU calibration, it would be easiest to start it as soon as possible after starting your Phantom. No long cable required

The old battery in the fridge trick seems to work well.

Yea -- guess the processor is doing most of the heating -- tho it does have a fan.
