I'm running 3.06 and Ianwood's profile and at around 40% battery it wanted to slowly descend. I had to keep bumping it back up and it might be okay for a bit and then want to slowly lower again. It was my first time with the 8FG and that profile so there are a lot of variables here.

How do you run the batteries down without leaving it in the bird for hours at a time? Seems nutty no one has introduced an easy way to discharge.
Can you not make up a connector to a car light bulb and discharge with that?
