I was going to get the P2, not vision, B+H bundle for about $2240.00 It came pre-assempled with FPV, ready to go.

Not going to happen, they are 4-6 weeks back ordered. So I will put my DJI P2 (not vision) together myself. No problem except I can't find or get a clear answer on what FPV I can buy that will be compatible with the GOPro 3+.

Is their a solution, or a solution where I have to assemble the FPV, which is fine too?

Help please.

TIA.

Hi
I was looking. At the same package too from B&H .. Funny. Yep I hate the 4-6 week back order delay. I too am thinking about ordering parts separately including a good FPV setup. Plus I might also wait for the new H3-3D gimbal too.
Will be interested in seeing what others have to say about FPV kit. I was looking at the Black Pearl but someone is selling it as it seems to not be compatible with the standard DJI AVL58 FPV kit that comes with the B&H package. I guess research is the key here ..

I think you are better off. I avoided the BH kits because the monitor they provide is not very good. Get yourself a nice 7" monitor with an integrated rx and battery like the Boscam LCD5802 or Black Pearl or Lilliput. I have the Boscam and am very happy. You just need to make sure the frequencies match up to your vtx. The frequencies are typically listed for each on most spec pages, so it's easy to verify. I have the Boscam TS353 400mw vtx and it syncs up perfectly with the LCD5802.

You will also save a lot of $ putting it together yourself. Only took me an hour, and I had never done it before and went the extra step to put my iosd mini inside the phantom for a cleaner look.

I decided to pass on the B+H bundle and found some good deals. For example, I bought from GoPro a refurbished 3+ Balck for $319.00 stock kit. 30 day money back and 1 year warranty from GoPro.

I Bought their 64GB memory card (Lexar) from GoPro for $79,00 then I found a cheap one on eBay for $24.00 or so. I hope "sparing no expense" was the right move.

Didn't know that DJI iOSD Mini's were hard to find. I ordered one from GB: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DJI-Innovatio ... OC:US:3160

Works out to $110.00 Then after it was too late, I found one on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/DJI-IOSDMINI/dp/B ... SD+Mini%27

So there's $30.00 gone.

I'm still ahead of the B+H game though.

Any idea where on the GoPro website one can hook up a refurbished model? ( I still have my Tivo refurbished machine recording away for nearly 10 years fault-free so Im ok with refurbished :D )

B&H also have the IOSDMINI for $69 but up to 14 days before shipping if you can wait... http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1000577-REG/dji_iosdmini_iosd_mini_on.html

Oops $319.00 on the refurbished GoPro 3+ Black edition.

Sorry to bug you again scooter but that link is for the 3 and. It the 3+ . I tried fiddling around with the URL but can't get the 3+ screen. Do you have the link?

Thanks

REI.com had a 20% off coupon on any 1 item, but it ended a couple of weeks ago. $319 for a brand new Black 3+. Not sure if they run that promo on a regular basis or not, but it was a sweet deal.
