Auto-Flips?

In the mobile app in settings there is an option for Auto - Flips.

What exactly is this? Is it what I think it is where you can have the phantom automatically do a flip in the air? My A.R. Drone does this if you double tap on the screen while flying.

It would be pretty cool but something I wont be trying, AR drone cheap and made of foam no worries, Phantom flips and crashes, broken props, camera, skids, arms........ If I want something to do stunts I can buy a kids toy quad for €30

LMAO. No, it isn't a setting for aerobatic flips. Its auto-flips for the phone screen...like when you rotate the phone.

When I saw it I was like, this cant be. No way would I think the phantom would do this. Those who do them in manual mode are nuts.

Thanks for that. I'm coming from a AR Drone and I also thought that was to flip the bird as my AR Drone did so easily.
