Am I the only one who has trouble getting the lid to close without catching the end of a Tx antenna? I decided to cut a little notch out on the lid, because I kept catching the antenna, and was worried I was going to stress/damage one of them.
The only issue I have is getting the RC into and out of the case. Have to fight it every time.
Agreed. The case is really just a fancy shipping container, that doubles as a light duty carrying case for the backseat of the car. It has no room for extra batteries, or even a full size iPad, but it sure beats the cardboard inserts in the box of the P3's!

Good to know. Thanks for pointing that out. I was misinformed. Were I keeping the P4, I like the P4 shipping case, and would have found it handy to use in the car for easy transport. Unfortunately, the P4 shipping case's only use will be to return the disappointing P4 back to DJI for a full refund. My three P3 "Professional" aircraft are much more useful for my long range video photography flying than the P4 "Enthusiast" model. Maybe, after P4 battery mods and birdside video power mods are available, I'll reconsider. It is a pretty "dirty" bird! The shipping case holds two extra batteries & an iPad Mini, Nexus 7, or similarly-sized tablets. These are the ultimate size tablets for my tastes. An iPad Air is considerably larger & will require a larger case or a separate case for the Air.

If DJI could natively support two P4 batteries on board, and increase the P4 aircraft video power to anything above the .746 watts of the original W323 P3P, in a P4P "Professional" version, I'd be all over it!Maybe you hit the nail on the head Gadget guy. Are they holding out for an Advanced/Professional model later this year? could be. P4 goodies +better camera, battery and range. lol
Do you still have room for the charger in there ?The shipping case holds two extra batteries & an iPad Mini, Nexus 7, or similarly-sized tablets. These are the ultimate size tablets for my tastes. An iPad Air is considerably larger & will require a larger case or a separate case for the Air.
After struggling to see how two batteries would fit in those slots by putting the batteries in vertically, like in all my other cases, I took another look at your photo and realized they go in sideways! Duh! Thanks again for the photo! The shipping case holds two extra batteries & an iPad Mini, Nexus 7, or similarly-sized tablets. These are the ultimate size tablets for my tastes. This thing is growing on me. I'm going to pair it with my FPVLR v2 transmitter tomorrow, and give it another chance to impress me.
You can see I am struggling, trying to justify hanging onto it!I think the hype is getting to you. It's a great piece of equipment.
