AMA

Started out thinking of flying small helicopters so joined the AMA. Never got into it very heavily and ended up with a P 4. Really enjoy it so disposing of all the other RC equipment.
Wondering if there's any need or value to staying in the AMA. Even for a senior, it's a pretty expensive membership.

David some people are very ANTI-Ama but I am not. I have had my AMA membership many many years and have seen first hand how the legal support is worth many MORE years worth of membership.

Some say they don't support our hobby (and in some ways this was true in the past) but they are very ProUAS now because we're all in the same industry now.
