Airplane mode or Data

Ok, I've read on here that this makes a difference when flying but I haven't read this on on official DJI document or website.

I'm not sure that I have seen any difference between having my databon or when I have it on Airplane mode.

Any thoughts?

It shouldn't make a difference irt distance, but it will make a difference irt heat generated by your device, which everyone should know by now causes FPV lag and app/device crashes.
