Hi forum,
Reaching out to you guys for some advice.
Have been running an original P4 now for a while for fun and hiring drone ops for pro work (we run a video production company).
However I've now completed my PFCO and looking to up the ante internally & reduce outsource costs & I enjoy flying the drone to be fair.
The P4 is fine for basic stuff, but doesn't cut it image quality wise on our video production services.
Have looked at the Mavic Pro and also Phantom pro v2 which you can still pick up - doesn't seem to be any major leaps and gains on either - apart from proper ATTI mode on the Phantom - we do fly inside very occasionally.
The other option is to take a gamble and lay out some major coin on the Inspire 2.
But obviously a much bigger unit & sounds like having a dedicated camera op on the job when it's in use is recommended.
Also have seen whispers in the wind about the P5 but nothing concrete as of yet.
I'm not in an immediate rush but do have jobs coming up where we could probably benefit from a better camera system - but whatever we go for has to be good for a couple of years at least - think the Inspire would go way beyond that - but the coin!
Any sage advice out there greatly appreciated
Cheers
Nick
