I am having issues of a dead OFDM. In tracing things and trying to make sense of it I have found that the 5V on the main board is dead. I am supposed to get 5V at the test spot and pins 3,4 and 10 of the black OFDM/VPS cable but they all show dead or about 300mv. I just swapped bodies and I think I hooked something up wrong one of the many times I had it apart. I am thinking that maybe I burned up the 5V regulator. but I don't know where it is.

I didn't know there was a 5V regulator on the board. I thought you had to buy one and solder it on if you wanted 5V. At any rate, you can buy a 5V regulator and solder it to the main power. Maybe that would work...?

That is what I an trying next. I ordered a 5v 3amp one from Amazon. The ones I tried were 1 amp and under and could not deliver enough amperage.
