By the way, even though the tutorial is using a mavic, you can do the same thing with any Phantom. I just manually take the the series of 360 photos looking up looking middle and looking down. I then stitch them together in ICE. Good luck!
Some apps such as litchi can take the photos needed automatically. Several programs are available to process the photos and create the panoramic images. One of the best free programs is Hugin. A very good paid program is PTGui.
