Yeah, I would have to agree, it's pretty ugly. Although he did do a good job integrating the 7th channel switch onto the controller to make that work. Otherwise though, more trouble than it's worth and I see that the ribbon cable is flopping around very loosely & even more precariously than the way the stock ribbon fits.

I agree it's a total mess. Looks like an entrant in trash wars.
I'm surprised that the ribbon cable had that much length.
