1080p or 4k

I do everything in 1080 X 60FPS, unless it's at night, which is 1080X30fps. It's just simpler. Smaller files, quicker downloads, quicker editing, and it looks great. 4K is better, yes, but not enough to warrant the extra time and hassle for as much as I fly and edit. IMO 1080 is plenty adequate for my family videos and most all other uses. I only shoot 4K if the customer specifically requests it, otherwise 1080 is what I like to use. My mantra.... keep it simple & quick.
 
I say it depends on what display you have. Running a gtx1080 outputting 4k @ 60hrz 444 on a 49 inch js Samsung you will for sure see the benefit of 4k over 1080p no question. I think it just depends on what equipment you are using.
