No you can not do it because the battery of the phantom has 4 cells and on the connector are only + and -. The pins are connected in parallel so you can put charging connector in the both position.
You can study circuits for power management from Texas Instruments, Linear technology and so on. The problem with balancing is quite serious. The discharging balance is the way to keep long battery life.
The reason to discharge is to balance the cells. A standard multicell battery (that has not connection to each cell) has ussually circuit that balances during charging and discharging. The monitor circuit is able to shut down the battery even if the only one cell is near to 0%.
Be patient. The...
I think it is quite dangerous. Try to do two cycles on the ground. The current will be lower and you can monitor the voltages. If you find out that the difference keeps so high you should discard the battery.
I have got the battery that came with the drone and it has 0.1V maximum difference all...
I think you should. Try to discharge and charge again several times. The discharging should be done with the drone on the ground and to 0%. It takes several hours. If the difference between cells drops under 0.1 V at fuls charge state after several cycles then you can take it in the air.
I had the same problem. It was due to dji go 4 version. I had to install 4.0.8 version to be everything as it was.
I have an old version of the firmware in the drone and I had to reinstall dji go 4 because the old installation was unfunctional. After installation dji go 4 4.1.20 nothing of...
You make flight near to the coast. Next time try to switch to atti mode for a while and look at the speed. If it is more then 10 m/s you can have a problem.
It is not very smart to fly to 5km with 50% of energy and have red battery symbol with 41%. No check of wind speed, no check of cells of the battery. The drone hove no juice to fly.
Yes, it is but I decided on this idea. What is more important? The dron and possibility that it can do something to somebody is more important than the price for a new tablet. My T705c was bought for the dron as well.
I am sorry but it is proably the problem. I have got Samsung 8.4 tablet - T705c and the crashes were nearly each time that I used it. I tried switch off local video saving, set channel 20, set to the lowet datarate. It was OK for a one flight and then again. I have cleaned memory of the tablet...
