I've read a lot. What im still confused about is the indicator lights for status. Do they mean all 4 of the lights? Also, I've seen some vids where there is a cord going from the smart phone to the controller. Is a cord necessary? These things are not explained in the manual. Thanks

Just got a p3, I'm in disbelief at how poor the docs are. Even the tutorial videos on the Dji site have no real walk throughs on step 1, 2, 3, etc. Does the company seriously want people to learn these things using independently made youtube videos?

I installed the app and connected it to the phantom 3, but there was nothing at the top to tap regarding upgrading the firmware, as shown in the tutorial video on the Dji website. I guess this means a firmware update is not needed? Tks

My used from amazon was missing the micro uSB cable. Could be missing more pieces as I have not checked if all the accesories are in the box.

Does the phantom 3 standard come with the cord needed to use a tablet or a phone? Tks

Hi guys, I need a drone to do a little bit of filming of my area, preferable in real time and then I doubt I will need it again. Which drone should I get? I'm trying to go as inexpensive as possible. Thanks
