I should have posted a picture, but this is what I have on my quad. I have my FAA ID 3d'd on the side as shown too (kills 2 birds with 1 stone). You unbolt the legs and then slide them down. No zip ties/drilling/etc required. They just simply rest on the trangle lightbridge antenna inserts and...

FWIW, I had this issue with my el-cheapo 32's as well. I formatted them with the App and I've not had the issue since and now I just format them regularly. The issue really seemed to present itself after I had pulled a few videos off and trashed them (I'm on a Mac) and cleared the trash...

Also, if anyone else wanted to 3d print my little jig, here are the files attached. I attached the SketchUp and the STL. Basically you just use a 4mm bolt with a nut (you put it on the underside in the recess) and out she comes!

I totally agree with you! When I was pressing (just barely mind you!) and saw the whole sleeve coming out I was like ...what a joke design. In fact, now that its pressed apart, I think the bearings are fine and the impact from a crash 2-3 weeks ago dislodged the sleeve in the base and took it...

I need to print up some of my battery saddles now that I have white filament for my fellow dual battery folks.

Thank you for the detailed response! I'm going to go ahead and get some ordered and get to work on it. That gives me a lot of confidence to proceed. I'm a Floridian by birth (last city I lived in was Boca Raton actually), so I'll put the money back in my old stomping grounds :)

Out of curiosity, any success in actually replacing the bearings on these? I have a 2313 with a lower bearing issue (it's actually from a E310 kit). If the internet is to be believed, its impossible to get the lower one out?

Mind telling me what model you have and what firmware ver is on it? I have a 206b

I would like to experiment with some lihv, but I really don't want to buy another charger. I have an iCharger, but max cell voltage is 4.3 on lithium battery mode :( They don't have any newer firmware either that support lihv, guess I'll have to email them. Surely it can do another .05v.

I will have to print up something like this in ABS for myself, I like that for smaller battery toting. Just watch out for he PLA in the sun, it gets soft ... I learned that the hard way this weekend with some part I have from uavbits. I had mine in the case at an auto race, and when I opened it...

I'm glad I went P3 when I purchased mine a couple months ago. It's still pretty "hackable" (ie: battery mods), but I wish it had non-integrated ESC's. Besides the shear cost of the P4, it just seemed like it checked all the boxes and so far it has.
