My wifi panel antennas were damaged in a crash and I found this antenna connection inside a wifi router. If I simply cut the connection and splice/ solder to the panel will it work as new or will I have noticeable signal loss.
I've put a ton of money into a crashed p3s and don't want to...
To recap: some symptoms of faulty gimbal flat cable include bird would flip between connection and no connection with the remote and simultaneously displaying "no image transmission" and "aircraft disconnected"
If you get these symptoms, try that first before anything else
An update on this post:
After purchasing a brand new gimbal, another used but fully functional gimbal a remote, and a crashed p3s that came with everything minus legs, props, and gimbal and changing everything into my bird I'm back in the air. Turns out the whole issue was ONLY my gimbal cable...
I have the gt-n5110 galaxy note 8 wifi and it is crappy with my p3s. Bought 1 for me and 1 for wife under the pretense that it was the "iPad killer" 4 years ago. Admittedly we've been Apple family forever and wanted to see what all the android hype was. Hers crapped out 2 years ago and mine was...
So in the process of trying to get back in the air, I have accumulated almost enough parts to put together a second p3s. I have a main circuit board (that I don't want to repurchase another) that flickers between connected/disconnected/no image transmission to dji go app. I'm thinking its some...
Anyone have any idea when prices drop on refurb units @dji? I watched and contemplated the p3p (579) vs the p4 (699 iirc)for a couple of days. Then when I decided to pull the trigger, they went back to 749 and 799 respectively. Anyone seen this type of short term reduction before and maybe have...
After a bad crash I got new landing gear, birdside external antennas and installed. I had the aircraft all apart to remove the internal antennas. Before buttoning everything back together I checked the app and got video feed and power. Since I finished buttoning up there's no transmission and...

Hopefully it's not as bad as it seems. About 60$ in parts and I should be back in the air. I'm skipping the prop gaurds and just replacing the gimbal plate, antennas, landing gear, and damping set. If all goes well the main circuit board and the gimbal are good. Also I'll be painting or dipping...
So I decided to get the $5 aftermarket prop guards vs the $15 dollar ones. I thought there could be no major differences. Both semi permanently attach a clip base to the bottom of the motors then the actual guards snap on/ off. Both come with a retention string.
Difference is that the more...
