Antennas splicing

My wifi panel antennas were damaged in a crash and I found this antenna connection inside a wifi router. If I simply cut the connection and splice/ solder to the panel will it work as new or will I have noticeable signal loss.
I've put a ton of money into a crashed p3s and don't want to spend another 35 bucks for new antennas

Yes, you can reattach the cable to the antenna (resulting in shortening their length) but cannot simply splice the two wires together without issue. Cables would need to be spliced by proper terminations/connectors. This too would result in slight losses even if done with quality and precision.
