Thanks for your comments, Yes i just brought a new ESC board in the end for £16 or $20 and it works fine. maybe i'll still look at the faulty one at a later stage for fun, i could always use it as a spare should i need it.

I will be acquiring a Phantom 2 vision plus that doesn't work, i wanted to check that these schematics are the same on all 3 phantom 2's including the vision plus, i am guessing that its just the camera/gimble that's different. btw great work and thanks to RDCF550 for doing this.
