This is gonna be fun! (Distance tests)

That is good thinking!

Just took the standard out to 36,000 feet turned around because I had some of my smaller batteries in,I should've put in bigger batteries but I didn't think I'd go that far unboosted.[emoji41] on the way back about halfway lost signal for mere seconds so my flight log was broke up into three flights but here's the outgoing flight and halfway back

DB can you recommend a mount that would hold that antenna for, say, a P2V controller? I am pushing the strength limits putting extra weight on this RE.

I'm gonna use this same 3D printed mount and place my modded RE700 behind the big panels prob velcro-ed upside down near the top of that printed mount, where you see all that empty real estate

That would be great. So you're saying that 3D printed mount will fit on a P2 controller? That's what I wasn't sure about

It shouldn't be a problem after you strip off the Re: 700 holder and it should still barely fit in there and be able to keep the phone holder, although I have the P3P style phone holder modded on my P2 controller. I'll post some pics right here in the morning for everyone to see, probably about midnight when I do all my good work[emoji41]

You ever retire any of those antenna you just let me know lol

Marknmd how do you like that mount for you screen.
I love it - pulls the device a little closer and away from your antennas which is a good thing. You have to get a tablet or phone holder to screw into it though.

Note that I have a P2V

Furthest im able to get is 1300 feet...
Sounds like there's room for improvement then, would you mind sharing your set up is it just stock, depending on your environment if it's just stock that might be acceptable
