My phantom 4 spent the winter in pieces under 4' of snow being subjected to all the elements. For 5 months before being retrieved.
It turns on normal but will not turn the blades.
I'm sure the water has fried somthing is there somthing I can do or would it be worth the money to send it in or write it off & get a new one?

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama USA, welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing from you!
Personally, I would just not bother with repairing it. The P4 will need a RID module in addition to the repair.

Greetings CIV, welcome to the forum from the outback of Australia.
I’d be inclined to keep it for spare parts and buy another P4. You could send it away for repairs but I would always be worried that something else will go wrong. Nothing worse than having an unreliable drone.
Regards

I would save it over sending it in. (You should see garage  )
But if your going to mess with it. I would ditch the battery,
Was the battery you tried that one?

Just found this.

Send it to DJI for an estimate. If the
price is right, pay them. From what I’ve read and in my experience, they don’t actually repair your drone. They swap yours with a refurbished one. RID is a factor to consider though.
