wifi antenna

Hi all

I have a dlink 2.4 ghz 7dba wifi antenna sitting around my house, i was thinking of putting this on my wifi extender to get better range, question, will this antenna work with the wifi range extender?

should do you just need to get the pigtail between the antenna board and the antenna. try coaxialrf.com for the pigtail. good writeups on someother forums, I might post mine once I do it

thanks for your reply, I already have the pigtail cord with me and I have seen many videos on how to install it, quite easy to install.

do you know what extra range i could get from this antenna? currently i lose wifi around 300 metres in heavily built up suburbia.

ok now i am really happy, i did the antenna mod with my 2.4 wifi antenna, and wow no break of fpv at all, i went all the way out to 650 metres before i lost control signal! so i did not lose wifi signal first but control signal ! i am very happy !
