and wanted to fab an airframe what is missing?
I have an extra battery, transmitter, WI-FI booster, good design skill, a 3D printer and a workshop to tinker in. I have a vision 2 for reference. It looks like I would need a GPS module and what else? I have some exotic design ideas, don't want to butcher my precious toy, but would like to screw around with a stretched out bird, I would also like to add a pusher prop and streamline it.
I understand there is no camera yet, if I scrounge one, I would also need a transmitter for FPV of the camera to an android tablet like the vision 2?
What am I missing, many know more than me, any advice?
I am thinking carbon fiber tubes with printed termination mounts and joints covered in mono-coat or similar? shaped a little more wing like for lift in forward flight and less drag , lighter, stronger, faster?
