It took a lot to get this video.
First of all I had to order another P3 as I lost a motor during a simple hover with my old one (read all about it here (Catastrophic design flaw of Phantom 3 | DJI Phantom Forum). I opted for the Advanced instead of the Professional for my 2nd Phantom since all of my videos are sized down to 1080p anyway.
Second, getting close enough to video this remote peak takes quite a hike. 7 miles round trip with almost 2000 feet vertical through some pretty rugged terrain (as you can see in the video).
Third, I took a day off work for this. Unfortunately it was cloudy yesterday, a fairly rare thing here in Arizona. So the high contrast rock and shadow effect I wanted wasn't to be had this trip. I also played with the white balance during different shots and so the colors are not consistent throughout. Lesson learned there.
