Will a Phantom 2 Vision controller work with a Phantom 2 Vision PLUS quad?

On the right side underneath there is a red light you press and then power on the controller. Then open RC assistant and calibrate. The open Quad assistant and calibrate again. Power down controller & quad. Only thing I can't remember is pressing the red underneath light when it stops, or starts the blink?
