Just visited a mate on his hobby farm near Launceston in Tasmania, Australia. Took my P2V+ with me to do some "real estate" shots of his place, but ended accidentally making a feature film fit for the local tourist board haha. Hope you like:

That brings back memories. My parents lived in Blackstone Heights just up beyond the casino. I was last there in 1990/91. They moved south to Hobart in about 1990. Lovely pics and fond memories.

Just rushed to google maps to see which side of the river the A frame of the Battman bridge is. It's the west side. Why you might ask? Well I have a sad addiction to street view and I like (need) to place a video on a map. Brought back further memories of Rosevears, the waterside pub and the vineyard. All on the west side of the Tamar. Lovely bit of countryside.

Yes it's a lovely spot round there. Most of the shoot was done around Kayena, Bonnie Beach and Sidmouth on the west side and Hillwood on the east. I believe the Rosevears pub has had a refurb of late and is quite an attraction. We really love this part of the Tamar and are looking to move there soon but the job front isn't overly encouraging. Perhaps there's money to be made in aerial photography - there's certainly no shortage of epic scenery in Tas!

I do know Blackstone Heights as we found it when looking for a place to live. Love the gorge up that way, very pretty. Thanks for the kind comments
