Hard to beat gopro stuido for quick flicks for youtube etc. It's free and the tools available within aren't bad. I use Premiere CS6 for more in depth edits.

I use Picasa to cut the clips I want. Upload the clips to YouTube and use their editor to put them together with fades and music. YouTube can also stabilize and enhance the video for you. I've done this for GoPro videos I have taken on my ATV rides. It's not fancy, but it's quick and easy. Once your video is completed, you can delete the clips from YouTube. I usually upload the clips as private and make the video public when I'm done. Look for MrFRBear on YouTube to see the videos. I don't have any from the P3 yet.
