Trouble with prop nuts

I'm having trouble loosening the nuts on the counterclockwise (silver) rotor props. The clockwise props came off with no problem, but the other ones won't budge. I have tried loosening the nuts in both directions with no luck. Am I missing some trick or will it just take a little more elbow grease? TIA
