Taking the Bird to Rio de Janeiro

Hey folks,

I'm flying to Rio tomorrow (Lufthansa from Amsterdam via Frankfurt) and plan on taking the Phantom as hang luggage. That shouldnt' be a problem right? No chance that there are issues at customs or anything?

I wouldn't take mine to Brazil. According to this thread, you have a high probability of losing it.
