Hey guys i am gonna get 2 multistar 4000 3S batteries, i checked out the weights when i fly my phantom 1.1.1 with the dual battery setup both batteries are stock my take off weight is around 1186 grams if i use the 2 4000 batteries the take off weight is around 1346 grams, dji says takeoff weight should be no more than around 1250 grams. Anyone in this situation and have flown, can my drone handle the little extra weight you think?

My phantom weighs exactly 2.9375lbs (2 lbs 15oz) or 1332 grams with a setup of handheld G3 gimbal, fpv, gopro, 2200mah lipo. Ive done this setup a couple of times just for fun just for cinematic type shots. Its more than capable of carrying this weight. The only "mod" i've really added are 9" P2 props. My flight would last nearly 5 mins. Hope that helps.

Yes thanks that helps. I figured it might fly ok, i found another post in here the member said he had a dual battery setup with the 2 multistar 4000 batterys and was getting about 23 min of flight time. So i think it will be great.
