Small scratch in the infrared side sensor

Hello,
I have been really, really careful with my Phantom 4 pro, but today I noticed a small scratch in the infrared sensor on the side. Do you guys think this will weaken the sensoring? I have no idea how it got there, I have not crashed or anything...
