RTH Problem

I flew my P3 today for the first time in a long time. I was just going through the basics, auto take off, manual landing, etc. Then I tried RTH by pressing the button on the controller. Much to my surprise, the voice said "Landing" and the P3 began to descend, it didn't return home. I took over and managed to avoid landing in a rough area. I flew back to my home spot and landed.

But, I don't know why it tried to do an immediate landing rather than return to home spot. All batteries above 80%, no loss of communication, no anomalies.

Anyone have any advice?

Was it within 20 meters of the home point? If so, it will land without returning.

This is probably the reason

Fly further away and try again.

That is one of the things I forgot in my long time with no flying! Thanks for the quick response.
