Range controller reconnection

Hello everyone,

I still have good signal when the drone is at 3KM distance.

What happends if I let someone replace the battery and try to reconnect will this work or is the connecting range less than the connection range?

I know the rules but since it's on own terrain it's a different situation

Is the remote controller still connected to the Phantom when it's on the ground at that distance? If so, you could definitely pull that off.

Yes the connection is fine since it are not stock antennas and its open field.
