Prob Guards

Hey. Received my P3A last week and having a blast with it.!

Bought and installed prop guards since first time with a drone this size. Flying outside only and wondering if I they really help in a crash. Safe and cautious here but you never know! Wanting to take them and really see how she flies!

Do prop guards help in a crash? Its a big question.

Prop guards will have adverse effect in medium to high wind conditions and may make difficult to control P3.
If you are flying near a tree, prop guards could get entangle into leaves/ branches and may pose issues.
Prop guards may be of help if you are flying in restricted space like inside a hall.
Prop guards might help you if during take off, your P3 flips over. They will save your props.
Prop guards might give you a little more confidence in your first few flights but thats all psychological thing.
In even of a crash, prop guards may exert extra stresses on P3 shell.
If wrong screws are used during prop guard mounting, you might damage the motor windings.
