A representative from Cleveland is going to introduce legislation to the Ohio Senate next week. Reportedly it will really handicap where you can fly drones in Ohio.

    State may drastically restrict drones

Can't fly them within 5 miles of airport and looks like 1 mile of a helipad, but not certain since the article doesn't go into specifics. Most big hospitals have a helipad of which the FAA hasn't seemed to mention anything about, yet. Based on the article, it seems like this guy may not have a clue as to what the FAA is trying to do so he is taking matters into his own hands. From the video, it appears his major fear is from terrorism.

Stuff like this is going on all over the place. Seems like its a race to see who can create the harshest drone laws. So far none of these proposed laws make sense, except to the people proposing them out of fear and in a topic they are completely clueless about. It should be a requirement to fully understand the subject matter before politicians are allowed to propose laws. Now thats an idea!:)
