Phantom is drunk after Can-bus mod

I did the Can-bus mod to hook up OSD mini to Phantom 1 main board - everything appears to be working fine there.

BUT - when I try to fly it, it seems as if it's drunk - wants to stumble around and veer off in different directions.

I replaced a motor that I had suspected of going bad - still no help.
All LED's are normal and controller is in good condition.
Advanced IMU cal went off without a hitch. Compass call also.

- Is it possible that there could be a problem with the FPV TX interfering with or creating input signals from the controller?
- Could I have fried my main board when doing the mod???

I'm stumped and tired of it not flying right any more. Any help is appreciated.
 
If you touched the compass with something metal (Such as the screwdriver) you could have screwed it up. Check the values in the software. This video is a little old, but still applies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCT1rRE_UIg
