Phantom 2 Adding FPV HELP

I have a Phantom 2, because it is so hard to see the screen on my Smart phone and some times there is no live feed... I want to add FPV. I bought the Fat Shark, installed the camera under the P2 cam. I mounted the battery under the P2 battery and the Tx / Antenna along a leg that had no wires. But when it got about 100-200ft away I lost control and it returned home. I removed the Fat Shark and it worked like normal. Anyone know how I can keep the two working together? Thanks

I assume you mean you have the P2 Vision. If so, the FatShark Tx works on the same 5.8GHz frequency as the control signal of your Vision, and will interfere with that (as you've seen). It would work fine on the P1 or a non-Vision P2.
