I was waiting all year for this. Decided not to get one after all the negative reviews.
I heard it has some major flaws.
I watched a few hours of youtube vids and summed up:
Good:
Stabilization - good in 25mph winds and surprised how well the video held.
Light and portable
Cheaper vs Phantom range
Video is decent and on par with phantom vision + (sub gopro).
Has sonar
Frame is robust and can survive a few crashes (except for camera).
Bad:
Poor Battery + Frame Design
Poor Battery charger
Wifi range
Very fragile - wifi wont reconnect on small bumps.
No manuals/instructions.
Drops in mid flight without warning.
I fly my phantom over water frequently. I think the bebop is much suited to aerial street selfies.
