P4 Gimbal overheating

Hello Folks,
You all have been so helpful to me getting my P4 kit put together. Hopefully, you can help will this. I was setting up my drone yesterday, and making the settings in the dji Go program. Suddenly, I go a gimbal overheating message. I turned everything off, and felt the gimbal. It was definitely very warm. Do I exchange it, or is there something I am doing?

Well, I may have found the problem. I had the clear plastic gimbal and lens protector off, but there was also a foam block right at the gimbal that needed to come off. I have never seen it mentions on tutorials, and it's hard to notice. Seems ok, now.
