P3P Linking Questions

I want to link my RC FW. Version 1.3.8 with another P3P AC FW. Version 1.9.6 that I just purchased from someone.

1) Has anybody run into this situation before?

2) Can this be done without causing any issues?

No, what issues due to linking are your concern ?
I have 2 ACs with one RC, and I’m swapping the RC back’n’forth with no issues. True, both birds hace FW 1.8.80.
Just proceed with linking and that’s it. See if all works well.
