Have a brand new P3-STD and have gone through all the setup and registration, when I go to fly it and press lift off button the props turn on for 4 seconds and then nothing happens. I have tried on multiple devices and still does the same thing. Any suggestion greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

Everything being done as per the manual, I guess? Phantom 3 Standard - Specs, FAQ, manual, video tutorials and DJI GO - DJI Do you press/tap AND slide?
Yes, Steve, Thanks... I press and slide and props come on and I think it is going to take off and then it just shut downs......and I have to turn it off the remote off and reset app to get it to just do the same thing again....very frustrating!
What does flight log say? Might give you hint why it shut itself down.

Have you tried to launch it manually? - ie: Do a CSC (both joysticks inwards at bottom) to start the motors - and then once they have started, use the left stick upwards (not too timidly) to take off.
Do you see any flashing LED's on the Phantom or get any error messages on your device?
What exactly have you done to 'set up'?.
