Hi all,
I’ve a couple of cracks in my P4 case. Nothing serious at first. They appeared for no apparent reason just below the battery housing on either side.
I ignored them at first but they are getting longer so I’ve grounded the aircraft.
BTW never had any rough landings, crashes or flights at all.

So I’ve ordered a new case and will transfer all the innards to the new case. Found a great vid on YouTube and sure I can do it myself.

Just asking if there is any further pitfalls to look out for or if anyone has further advise.

Forewarned is forearmed!!

TIA
Brent

A couple of tips when removing the four antenna wires from the module inside, be gentle removing and attaching them from the connectors (they can easily be damaged) and when soldering motor wires back onto the side of the module make sure you do a good solder job as you don't want any these wires detaching. good luck
