My first flight -Langebaan Beach (Cape Town)

Hi everyone

I've linked the footage from my 1st flight. The beach has a designated area for kites and I was there before anyone of them had arrived .

Majority of the flight was around 10-15m off the ground until the last few minutes when I pressed the RTH and that took off to 30M!

The wife was worried when it suddenly lifted up but I stayed calm and trusted my phantom.

Well, that's out of the way! LOL! The Vid seems a little dark; did you have the cam set to auto, or have you adjusted the manual settings, or added an ND filter?

Anyway, it's a beautiful location and enjoy your forthcoming flights!

PS - you might want to edit your post to remove the dupe Vid!

I had it set on auto, but I see that the right wheel still adjusts the exposure which I really need to get right. I dumped a lot of footage which was much darker than this.

I'm learning a lot from this forum and I'm really glad to be a part of this awesome community
