Multi coloured wire running next to phantom zenmuse plug

Right, I think I just need to cut my power adaptor from my gimbal and attach the red wire from the gimbal (there are two, red and black) to the red lead from the bunch of multicoloured oneson the phantom 2 adaptor . Then the aux power should power my gimbal? Please tell me I'm correct otherwise I'm out of options

I'm trying to connect the Walkera g2d gimbal to my phantom vision 2. I wish I had just saved for the zenmuse.

Please help
