Haven't had a chance to fly my new bird yet, only calibrated IMU and gimbal - compass calibration to be done when in the field.

I have a question for other owners. I armed the motors (with no props attached) to check for odd noises coming from the motors (all seemed fine). When I gave it a little throttle I got the warning message in the DJI Go app as in the thread title. I read somewhere that this warning will go off in this particular circumstance. Is this correct?

Since you had no props attached, I don't think it's much of a mystery that it said "....missing propeller".

Yes...applying throttle without props attached will bring up that warning.

Many thanks for the quick reply!

Lol this is indeed true, however, coming from a P3S which is way less complex it caught me a little off guard. I originally assumed that the P4 simply did some comparison of current draw between the motors in order to come up with the warning but I guess it's a bit more sophisticated than that.
