Maximum flight distance reached

This is so frustrating!!
I flew then changed battery, and I got that error.
I deleted the app on iOS then reloaded it. The bird worked fine!
Then again as I switched batteries, same error..
"Maximum flight distance & altitude reached"

HELP PLEASE

Are you running DJI Go? That happened to me after the most recent firmware upgrade when I tried to start up with Litchi. This upgrade requires that when you first start your bird, that DJI Go is running (ie. so you can see status of all the sensors so that if there's any problems, you'll see it in Go). Then you can close out Go and start up any third party software such as Litchi.

After being cleared, flight restrictions return with power up (battery change)

the issue I found was with the DJI GO App for IOS - what works is to sign out of the DJI App and log back in after each battery change.
The RC needs to be power cycled as well with each battery change - it's not elegant but my bird flies unrestricted.

Hi, I have the same issue since last firmware update. I’ve realised that changing a cable between controller and iphone/ipad helps. But now and than fault comes up again. Couldn’t make FPV working any more after update. I mean it is working but with this stupid range restriction. DJI staffed it up big time.
