magnet drama ,, after take off ? help

G`day from "OZ" everyone ,
I have a drama with a P2v ,
i get green leds and take off ,,
after 30 seconds or so the compass goes in to cal me mode ?
i land as dont want a fly away ?
i have another p2v+ in the same area has no dramas ? have done basic and advanced cal and updated software to ry and fix ,,
could it be the compass sensor ?
after i land the led`s turn green again ?

The IMU has nothing to do with the compass department in a Phantom.
The first thing to eliminate is your compass calibration.
Has this just happened once in one location?
If you calibrate in an area near a lot of steel, your Phantom may compensate for the distorted magnetic field there but when you fly away, the compass can't deal with the earth's normal magnetic field.

Thanks , was happening everywhere ,,, The problem was the ribbon cable i pin was coming out ,,, changed the cable all good

Take watch off wrist, remove all "bling" from body. Get metal coins out of pocket. Calibrate compass.
Don't take off from roof of car
