The Links Market in Kirkcaldy, Fife is Europe's longest street fair[1] and the oldest in Scotland. Established in 1304, the annual six-day event attracts between 200,000 and 300,000 visitors[2] to the town. 2004 was the 700th anniversary of the event, with 225 attractions and more than an estimated half a million visitors.[3] The Links Market is held along the town's seafront.

Links market was first a market for people to buy things from it including: Food, blacksmiths, fishing gear and many others that not many would know. Now links market is a huge festival/fair That normally takes place 6 days in April, normally around 13 - 26. There are over 200 rides/fun activities to do, the biggest and scariest ride is called "The Bomber" and tied with it is "The slingshot". Links market takes place on a street called Esplanade
